An extract of the presentation made for the discussion of the master degree thesis by Riccardo Stefani - Bologna Alma Mater Studiorium, faculty of agriculture.
For this project I made some custom illustration of the ginger plant and roots, you can see them in slide 1, 2 and 9. I made several tries before finding a satisfying synthesis for the root, below you can see that for the same shape different styles of line brought to different visual results. I wanted them to be accurate but with a clean design, so I went for the simplest lines.
Here the botanical illustration made for the entire plant, the roots and the flower.
Last but not least, the moodboard showed to the client at the start of the project, with some clear directions for the colors, font and style.
